HAIR QUESTIONS:

1. Will Sassy Mitchell blend with African-American hair?

Yes! Sassy Mitchell hair blends will multiple nationalities of hair. It is very versatile and easy to manage!

2. How many bundles of Sassy Mitchell Hair do I need for a full sew-in?

Depending on the style you plan to wear, the length you select, and the size of your head, a minimum of two bundles is needed for a natural-looking sew-in. Three or more for a full look. Longer lengths (18″+) typically require three bundles. If you will be wearing a closure, you will usually only require 2 bundles of hair + closure.

The number of bundles purchased depends on the look a client is going for. Some clients prefer three bundles over two bundles, some prefer four bundles over three. It varies by client and their desired style.

Clients preferring a partial sew-in typically require only one bundle.

 3. Does Sassy Mitchell sell closures?

Yes, all closures are shown on the SHOP page. Lace closures are available in 14″ and 18″. Silk closures are available in 14″ only.

All of our closures blend very well with the corresponding hair type. However, as our products are 100% human hair, there may be slight variations in curl pattern or color. We cannot guarantee that your closure will EXACTLY match what you see in pictures, videos, or prior purchases, but we will do our absolute best to ensure customer satisfaction. Prior to purchase, be sure to check with your stylist to determine if you will need a Lace or Silk closure.

NOTE: Our closures are NOT lace fronts, 360ʼs, or frontals. We do not offer those.

4. What is the difference between curl patterns?

We're glad you asked! Sassy Mitchell offers 7 different curl patterns, each with its own fabulous look!

Eurasian Exotic Wave - similar to a wet-n-wavy. Beach style waves. Our topseller!

Eurasian Ocean Wave - similar to a body wave. S-shaped pattern. Very slight wave with body. Great for a glam look or a bob!

Malaysian Silky Straight - just like it sounds, silky and bone straight.

Malaysian Relaxed Straight - looks just like your hair has been freshly relaxed. Relaxed texture and coarseness.

Brazilian Tight Curl - tight, kinky curls. To prevent frizziness, Tight Curl should not be combed or brushed out. Finger styling allows you to maintain your beautiful curls! These curls will required daily moisturizing and use of a detangler.

Brazilian Natural Curl - spiral-style curls. Looser than the Tight Curl. These curls will do best with finger styling and use of a moisturizing detangler every other day.

5. What is the difference between a Lace and Silk closure?

LACE Closures are thin and allow your natural hair to breathe. They're more flexible than silk and with proper installation, will lay flat on your head. This reduces the appearance of "raising" or demarcation at your hairline. Lace closure knots are easy to bleach or dye and are usually easy for stylists to work with.

SILK Closures have a built in, medium-brown scalp base that completely covers your natural hair. They are thicker than lace closures, yet offer you a very natural looking crown/scalp appearance. The silk base does not typically require dye to match your hairline.

Prior to purchase, we suggest discussing with your stylist which one is most suitable to the hairstyle you will have.

6. Will I get the exact hair shown in the picture/video? Why is my hair different from my friend's hair?

We offer human, unprocessed hair and because of that, hair and bundles can vary in both curl pattern and color (slightly). Some bundles are curlier, looser, or
straighter than others. No two bundles of human hair are exactly the same. You can make specific requests when you place your order and we will do our very best to honor it. However, we cannot guarantee that your bundles will exactly match what you see in pictures, videos, prior purchases, or on your friend.

7. What products should I use?

We highly recommend our Sassy brand of shampoo & conditioner. However, your hair care can depend on your climate.

In drier areas, you may want to use a moisturizing shampoo/conditioner such as
Loreal EverCare with Argan Oil, Shea Moisture products, or One-N-Only Argan Oil line of products.

In humid areas, you may want to use a smoothing shampoo/conditioner such as Suave Sleek or Pantene Smoothing.

You can also use a small amount of frizz control or smoothing serum as needed.

8. How Do I Order Sassy Mitchell Hair?

Place your order on our website: www.SassyMitchell.com. Click Shop Hair, then click your desired hair type.

9. Can I Place My Order Over The Phone?

No. For the security of your credit card, we DO NOT take phone orders. All items must be ordered online at www.SassyMitchell.com and we will ship your order to you. No exceptions.

10. Do you have a store / Can I pick up the hair?

No. All items must be ordered online at www.SassyMitchell.com and we will ship your order to you. No exceptions.

11. How do I exchange my Sassy Mitchell Hair?

Hair may be exchanged within 7 business days of delivery as long as the rubber bands have not been removed, the wefts have not been unrolled, it has not been handled, brushed, dyed, cut, colored, or installed. Hair must be in its original packaging and ready for resale.

To exchange, please ship your hair back to us along with a note advising us of your wishes. In addition, you must send your hair in a box with Signature Confirmation.

13. What is “PayPal Credit / Bill Me Later”?

PayPal Credit / Bill Me Later is a PayPal offered credit line thatʼs built-in to your PayPal account. You can use PayPal Credit during PayPal checkout. The program lets you pay for your purchases in 2 simple steps – just enter your birth date and the last 4 digits of your Social Security number and accept the terms. Approval takes only seconds. Set PayPal Credit as your preferred payment method and youʼll speed through PayPal checkout even faster. PayPal Credit is subject to credit approval. There is no annual fee for using PayPal Credit and you have 6 months to pay off your balance prior to any interest fees being added to your account. This option is not layaway, this is a credit card/credit line.

14. How Do I Use “PayPal Credit / Bill Me Later”?

Go to www.sassymitchell.com > Click “Shop” > Pick the Hair Type You are
Interested In > Choose a hair length from the drop down menu > Add to Cart >
click button “Proceed to Checkout” > Complete the “Your Sassy Cart” checkout
form > Click “Place Order”. From here you will be transitioned to the PayPal
checkout for Sassy Mitchell. To use ‘PayPal Credit / Bill Me Laterʼ you must click
“Donʼt Have a PayPal Account?” From here you will see the PayPal form which has two buttons, one for ‘Credit Cardʼ the other for ‘PayPal Creditʼ. Click on the ‘PayPal Creditʼ button. Enter the appropriate information that appears and click “Sign Up and Continue”. Be sure your e-mail and billing address information is correct prior to continuing. Click continue and complete the information requested from PayPal (date of birth, last 4 digits of social security number). Agree to the terms and conditions and you have successfully purchased utilizing bill me later.

 

SHIPPING

 15. When will my Sassy Mitchell order be shipped?

Your package will be shipped within 2 BUSINESS DAYS of placing your order,
unless your order is placed when we are closed. In that case, your order will be
shipped when Sassy Mitchell re-opens.

Once shipped, you will receive an email from the US Postal Service (USPS) or
FedEx. That email will include your tracking number and anticipated delivery date.
Please be sure to check your inbox AND spam folder for your USPS or FedEx
tracking number. ALL orders require a signature upon delivery. No exceptions.

16. How long does shipping take?

You will typically receive your package 3-5 business days from the day
you place your order, except during holiday seasons or inclement weather. In those cases, shipping may take slightly longer. With standard Post Office shipping, we CANNOT guarantee your exact delivery date. You will receive an email notification from the Post Office indicating your expected delivery date. 

We do offer business day overnight shipping with Fed-Ex. Please read the FAQ on overnight shipping for more information on FedEx shipping. ALL orders require a signature upon delivery. No exceptions.

17. How Do I Request Overnight Shipping? 

Sassy Mitchell offers overnight shipping Tuesday through Friday via FedEx (if available in your area).

*** VERY IMPORTANT: You cannot place an overnight order via our website. You
must follow the procedures shown below. All overnight shipping requests must be
completed and paid BEFORE 1|30pm eastern time AND prior to placing an order
online. Please plan the timing of your order accordingly. During sales, holidays,
and weekends, all overnight shipping is suspended.

To request overnight shipping (U.S. customers), please follow the
instructions below:

We do not process overnight shipping orders on weekends, holidays, during sales, or when we are closed (Sat/Sun/Mon). Shipments delayed due to weather
conditions, natural disasters, or other uncontrollable events are not eligible for a
refund or credit. 

There is no overnight shipping for International customers or to post office boxes
(a physical address is required). If available, overnight shipping charges typically
range from $45 to $110, depending on your location. We do not determine the
overnight shipping rates. They are set by FedEx. All overnight requests MUST be completed and paid before 1:30pm eastern time.

18. Which Shipping Carriers Does Sassy Mitchell Use?

Sassy Mitchell offers 3 shipping options:

  • Standard 3-5 day shipping via the US Post Office ($15)
  • International 7-10 day shipping via the US Post Office (Rates vary)
  • Business Day Overnight shipping via FedEx (Rates range from $45-110) 

Standard 3-5 day Shipping:
All orders are insured by the US Post Office and we ONLY ship to your confirmed
credit card billing address. No alternate addresses. No exceptions. ALL orders
require a signature upon delivery. No exceptions.

You will typically receive your package 3-5 business days from the day you place
your order. We CANNOT guarantee your exact delivery date. If you have not
received your order within 24 hours of your expected delivery date, please contact
the US Post Office with your tracking number. They should be able to assist in
locating and delivering any missing packages. During holiday seasons or inclement weather, shipping may take slightly longer. Please plan accordingly and order your hair at least 2 weeks prior to your hair appointment. 

Business Day Overnight Shipping:
If available, FedEx overnight shipping costs typically range from $45 to $110,
depending on your location.

HOW TO REQUEST OVERNIGHT SHIPPING: 

All overnight orders MUST be placed via email before 1|30pm EST (New York
time). You cannot place your overnight order through our website. Email your
exact order request to us at: SassyMitchellHair@yahoo.com. Include:
Your full name, phone number, shipping zip code, and exactly what hair and
lengths you would like. Once we have all of this information, we will email you an
invoice with your order total including hair and shipping. Your invoice will have an
expiration time. Please be mindful of it.

We MUST have this order request completed BEFORE 1Z30pm eastern time (New York time). Any order requests placed after this time will not be processed that day. 

There are no overnight orders when we are closed (Sat/Sun/Mon). During
inclement weather, FedEx may suspend overnight shipping. This is outside
of Sassy Mitchell's control and you will be contacted by FedEx if this affects your
order.

International 7-10 day Shipping:
We offer international shipping to most countries. We utilize the US Post Office for

have no way of determining what they may be. Customs policies/fees vary widely

19. Does Sassy Mitchell Offer International Shipping?

20. How do I use the Sassy Mitchell Stylist or Student Discount?

Our 20% discount is available only to CURRENT students and LICENSED
cosmetologists with VALID ID.
YOU CANNOT PLACE YOUR STUDENT DISCOUNT ORDER VIA OUR WEBSITE SHOP PAGE. PLEASE READ INSTRUCTIONS BELOW…
When you are ready to request and pay for your order, you must first EMAIL a
photo of your valid student ID or cosmetologist license to SassyMitchellHair@yahoo.com. If your school does not provide a student ID
(online schools, etc.), please email us a copy of your photo ID/driverʼs
license AND an official document verifying current enrollment. We suggest that
you make your order request with us the day before you would like your order
shipped.

Once received, Sassy Mitchell staff will EMAIL you an invoice/bill with your
discounted total including shipping costs. We contact all clients in the order that
we receive your ID. 

Orders can ONLY be placed in the studentʼs or cosmetologistʼs name. Orders WILL NOT be processed in any other name. You will have 24 hours to pay your invoice. Once paid, your order will be shipped to you.

The discount is 20% off the HAIR and cannot be combined or transferred (no
family or friends may use your discount). Discounts can only be applied at the time your order is placed with us via email. Orders placed on our website are NOT eligible for discounts. ALL orders require a signature upon delivery. No exceptions. If available, overnight shipping costs typically range from $45 to $110, depending on your location. We do not determine the overnight shipping rates. They are set by FedEx. All overnight orders MUST be completed and paid before 1|30pm eastern time. 

We cannot overnight ship to a post office box. A physical address is required. ALL

21. Does Sassy Mitchell still offer Military Discounts?

No. We have been made aware that requiring photo identification to verify
military status is a violation of Federal law. As a result, we have discontinued all
military discounts effective 12/18/2014. 

22. Does Sassy Mitchell offer bundle deals?

As of May 12, 2016, we will offer 15% off any hair order of 3 bundles or more.
The discount will automatically be applied at checkout on our website. The
discount is only valid for hair extensions (not hair care products) and cannot be
combined with any other discounts, sales, or promotions. Discount cannot be retroactively applied to any orders placed prior to May 12, 2016.
